The company SAET Spa, as Data Controller of the processing of personal data under the current legislation on the protection of personal data, recognizes the importance of protecting personal data and considers their protection one of the main objectives of its company activity.

Before communicating any personal data, SAET Spa invites you to carefully read this privacy policy, as it contains important information on the protection of personal data and the security measures taken to ensure confidentiality in full compliance with applicable legislation.

This privacy policy is intended only for the Website and does not apply to other websites accessed via external links.

SAET Spa informs you that the processing of your personal data will be based on the principles of lawfulness, correctness, transparency, limitation of purposes and storage, minimization of data, accuracy, integrity and confidentiality. Your personal data will therefore be processed in accordance with the legislative provisions of the applicable legislation and with the confidentiality obligations provided for therein.

“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person with particular reference to an identifier such as name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more characteristic elements of his own physical, physiological, psychic, economic, cultural or social identity.

The Personal Data collected while browsing the website are as follows:

  1. Navigation data. The computer systems and the software procedures used to operate the website, during their normal operation, acquire some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

Such information is not collected to be associated with identified parties but could allow to identify users, by their very nature, by processing and association with data held by third parties.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the Website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) type addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, error, etc..) and other parameters relating to the operating system and to the computer environment of the user.

These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the website, to check its proper functioning and to allow the correct delivery of the various functions you request. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the website.

  1. Data provided voluntarily by the user. 3.- Purpose of treatment

The Personal Data you provide through the website will be processed by SAET Spa for the following purposes:

  1. commercial and marketing purposes relating to products and services of SAET
  2. purposes of statistical research/analysis on aggregated or anonymous data, therefore without the possibility of identifying the user, aimed at measuring the functioning of the website, measuring traffic and assessing usability and interest;
  3. purposes relating to the fulfilment of a legal obligation to which SAET Spa is subjected;
  4. purposes necessary to ascertain, exercise or defend a right in court or whenever the judicial authorities would exercise their jurisdictional functions.

The legal basis for the processing of Personal Data for the purposes referred to in point a) is the provision of a service requested by you or the response to your request and your consent is therefore not required in accordance with the applicable law.

The purpose referred to in point b) does not involve the processing of personal data while the purposes referred to in points c) and d) represent a legitimate processing of personal data under the applicable legislation because, once the personal data has been provided, the processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which SAET Spa is subjected.

The provision of your personal data for the purposes listed above is optional, but their failure to provide may make it impossible to meet your request or fulfill a legal obligation to which SAET Spa is subjected.

Personal data may become known by:

  1. subjects, whose intervention is necessary for the provision of services offered by the Website including, by way of example, the analysis of the functioning of the Website, that act as data controllers of SAET Spa;

No automated decision-making processes are applied to the processing of personal data carried out for the purposes of this information notice.

Personal data collected while browsing the Website will be retained for the time necessary to achieve the above purposes.
The data collected through the contact form will be retained for the time necessary to fulfill the requests you make.

8.- Place of data processing

Navigation data is not transferred outside the European Union. The contact details of the form may be transferred outside the European Union for the purposes referred to in point (a).

9.- Rights of the interested party

As you are interested party with regard to the processing of your personal data, you have the right to obtain confirmation as whether or not such data exists, to be informed about its contents, to verify its accuracy, to access to your data, to request its origin, rectification, integration, erasure, purpose and method of processing, the updating if incomplete, incorrect or collected in breach of the law, and to object to its processing and to obtain a restriction on processing; you have the right of transformation into anonymous form of your data and of blocking them if processed unlawfully; finally, you have the right to have your data portable.

Interested parties who believe that the processing of personal data relating to them has been processed in a manner that does not comply with the rules, they have the right to make a complaint to the Guarantor Authority, as provided for in art. 77 of the Regulation itself, or to bring an action before the appropriate courts (art. 79 of the Regulation).
